Watkins Glen State Park is one of the most popular and picturesque destinations in all of the Finger Lakes region and offers excellent scenery and opportunity for outdoor recreation. The area is home to a stream that descends 400 feet past 200-foot cliffs, resulting in 19 waterfalls within a stretch of just 2 miles. The state park campground is large and consists of over 300 sites that can accommodate tents and trailers (30 feet max length). There are also cabin rentals available as well. The campsites include picnic tables, fire pits, and electric hookups at some sites. Other campground amenities include showers, flush toilets, a dump station, playground, and sports fields. The sites are $18-$24 per night depending on electric hookup included. There are also rustic cabins available which sleep 6 people. The cabins include beds. There is no electricity, heat, or running water in the cabins. The cost for a cabin is $58 per night. The sites can be reserved online up until the day before arrival. Some sites may also be available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
